Verizon expands 4G network in the Sacramento region

Verizon Wireless is expanding it’s 4G coverage in the Sacramento region. Last June Verizon added 4G coverage for Folsom, Roseville, Rancho Cordova, El Dorado Hills, Elk Grove, Davis, Placerville, Auburn and Lincoln. This new expansion will add Loomis, North Natomas, Woodland, West Sacramento, South Sacramento, Mather and Elverta to it’s 4G covered areas.

Verizon said, “The expansion of our 4G LTE network in Sacramento reinforces our commitment to leading the way in 4G LTE and providing our customers the best products and services available”

According to the company they already cover two-thirds of the population of the US in 230 markets. If you don’t happen to be in a 4G covered area the odds are you will still be covered by their 3G network, however 4G is 10 times faster than 3G.
