Kings season ticket holders started getting calls on Monday. The calls are coming from the Maloof’s themselves. We have reports that calls are being made from either Gavin or Joe Maloof.
The Kings have received a landslide of cancellations from season ticket holders. Many season ticket holders have said they will not renew their tickets simply because of the Maloofs. If the Maloof’s sold the team the season ticket would again renew their tickets.
The Maloof excuse for the failed deal is the projections were too high and for them to reach those projections, ticket sales would have to increase 60 percent. The Kings organization would not comment on how many season ticket holders were no longer renewing their tickets.
