The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is alerting motorists that the on-ramp at southbound Stockton Boulevard to southbound State Highway 99 will be temporarily closed for reconstruction.
The on-ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, July 8 through 5 a.m. Monday, July 11. Teichert Construction is the prime contractor for this $6.6 million project to construct new auxiliary lanes and widen on and off-ramps on State Highway 99 from Calvine Road to Mack Road in Sacramento County. The project is scheduled for completion by fall of 2012.

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is alerting motorists of various southbound lane and ramp closures beginning tonight, January 19 at 6 p.m. through noon tomorrow, January 20 between 12th Avenue and
Fruitridge Road. The on-ramp from 12th Avenue/Franklin Road to southbound 99 will be closed and traffic will be directed to use Fruitridge Road to access southbound 99. Motorists can anticipate delays of up to 20 minutes.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes, if possible, to minimize delays. The
work is necessary to allow a contractor to perform necessary roadway repairs.

Another deadly day in Sacramento freeways today. Highway 99 was closed dues to a deadly collision that the CHP is continuing to investigate. The northbound lanes of Highway 99 were closed most of the morning.
According to the California High Patrol the collision involved five vehicles and left the body of a man on the highway. Another accident on highway 99 involved 2 cars. The accidents were not realted.
