A Sacramento-bound Greyhound bus collided with two vehicles, leaving six dead including the bus driver and many more injured early this morning.

The driver of the bus, which originated in Los Angeles, was thought to be among the four women and two men feared dead. In addition to the six confirmed fatalities, police reported six people were critically injured and 28 more had minor injuries. Injured victims were being taken to Fresno, Calif.’s Community Regional Medical Center.

Two people in a Pocket-area home were not hurt when a sports utility vehicle plowed into their living room just after noon Monday. The woman and her 2-year-old granddaughter had just left the front of the house and were in another part of the residence when the crash occurred, according to authorities.
