Here in California several local agencies will be conducting their own September 11th rememberance cermonies. Cal Expo’s 9/11 memorial will be open Thursday from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. at night. Members of the Department of Homeland Security and Sacramento area first responders will be at the memorial detailing prevention and safety improvements since the attacks.
In Modesto, the Fire Department will honor and remember the day by hosting a “remembrance” service, at all city of Modesto fire stations. Every Modesto fire station will be open to the community at 9:45 …
