The Sacramento Kings busted a ball and they are warning other NBA teams. In an freak accident Francisco Garcia broke his right wrist when an exercise ball burst. Kings co-owner Joe Maloof ordered an e-mail sent to the NBA’s other 29 teams. Apparently he felt there are unforeseen dangers when using exercise balls. Garcia was lying on his back doing dumbbell presses with 90-pound weights in each hand when the ball burst.
Garcia’s a five-year contract extension is worth $29.6 million. Maloof said the team is considering legal action against the maker of the ball. Sources close to the team identified it as an Italian-based company, Gymnic. Maloof said “I want to wait until we get the facts and start formulating what we want to do. The main concern I have is to make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else.” Kings have officially jumped the shark. A ball bursts and you are going to sue? Do they realize how silly that is?

The Kings are pretty lame but a ball should not just bust.
Well obviously there are some serious flaws with this ball if can’t sustain that kind of weight.
I doubt that this ball manufacturer’s revenue in one year can even match what this guy makes in one year, so this little company might be in for a rough ride.
I believe this is a great excerise to become fit for hardly no cost. There’s a lot of trainers recommending people to get all kind of strange equiment. Good entry.
