The Sacramento Bee launched a new network called Sacramento Connect. The network links the best of the web for readers in the Sacramento area and more broadly in Northern California. While testing has been going on for a while, The Sacramento Connect network officially launched at 10am today.

All of the sites in the network are linked through a new toolbar found at the bottom of every page on each of the sites. The new toolbar allows you to find related stories across the Sacramento Connect network as well as share those stories on social networking sites like FaceBook and Twitter. Each of the sites in the network are handpicked by SacBee.com editors for consistent quality content. The initial list of sites in the network is small by design and will grow over time.
