Kevin Johnson declared the new arena deal dead citing “irreconcilable” differences. Now the question is will the Sacramento Kings stay in town without a new arena. The Maloof say they have no plans to move the Kings, but given their track records not many in the community trust the Maloofs. The Kings will play at Power Balance Pavilion for 2012-13, but their future beyond that is unclear.
Seattle and Anaheim both want the Sacramento Kings. Moving to either city seams likely ofter the 2013 season is over. The only real hope to keep the Kings in Sacramento is to find new owners. The Maloofs have created too many enemies here is Sacramento. New owners could bring back honesty, integrity, and money back to the Kings organization.
