An inmate has escaped from Folsom prison and is still on the lose. 32-year-old Marco Cabrera was discovered missing from his cell during a routine inmate count.
Cabrera was convicted of assault with a firearm, the transport and sale of marijuana, corporal injury to a spouse, and for being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Around 9:30pm last night residents at the Esplanade Apartments, near the corner of Green Valley Parkway and East Natoma Boulevard, spotted a man matching the inmate’s description. The escaped inmate reportedly stole a vehicle, but crashed and fled on foot.
No further information was provided by authorities.
