The Sacramento Public Library also has JobNow, a free online service to help job seekers with 24/7 access to online job coaching, resume help, and other online resources to guide Sacramento Public Library patrons in helping them to get a new job.
Library patrons can access this free service by clicking the JobNow link on the library’s web page at www.saclibrary.org and entering their Sacramento Public Library card number and personal identity number (PIN).
There are several JobNow online services that include finding listed jobs online, writing resumes, and helpful interview tips. There is an online resume lab where patrons can send their resume to a JobNow expert and receive an expert analysis within 24 hours; and the opportunity of connecting live-online with an interview coach to brush up on interview skills everyday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. (PDT).
