UFO Over Sacramento

News 10 (ABC) reporter claims to have seen an UFO over Sacramento. While shooting Friday Night Football highlights over Sacramento, Air10 pilot Ed Georges and FNF correspondent Angel Cardenas spotted a strange set of lights flying over their helicopter.
“I know what aircraft lighting looks like and this was definitely something different,” Georges said. “It looked almost like a scrolling message on a blimp to the naked eye. I was at 1,200 feet and it was considerably higher.”

It’s a no-burn weekend

Higher fines are levied for repeat offenders.

If attendance estimates prove correct, it would be one of the largest rallies at the Capitol since the Vietnam War. Comedian Margaret Cho, attorney Gloria Allred, and state Sen. Darryl Steinberg, D-Sacramento, are slated as featured speakers at the 2 p.m. rally.
Come on guys Gloria Allred, this is the best you could do? You are …

Driving might get more expensive

Legislative leaders and Gov. Schwarznegger met Friday to try to reach some accord on how to bridge the state’s ever-growing budget gap but concluded the morning meeting without a deal. One of the ideas under discussion was reportedly a tripling of the vehicle license fee (VLF) in return for more spending cuts. Gov. Schwarzenegger’s first act of governor in 2003 was to repeal a big hike in the unpopular VLF. At the time, rescinding the car tax meant a loss of about $4 billion to the state budget.
So the …

No More Hats

No More Hats at Golden One. That is their new policy. Robbers rarely leave home without their disguises, which also help the FBI come up with those creative nicknames. Remember the Straw Hat Bandit? And who could forget the pony-tail bandit?
