1st food review
I do not go out to lunch all that often, but I thought when I do go to a new place I may post a review. The last place we went to each was “The Squeeze”. When I fist heard of this place I wondered why it was called The Squeeze. Once we got there I realized why. To get into this place you literally need to squeeze. There is just enough room behind 1 row of bar stools to stand and order your food. They do have outside seating, so we ordered and sat outside.
This place was a dive (in a good way, if you like dives). Actually it won best dive in the Sacramento Magazine. I ordered The Squeeze Burger with Cheese, small fries, and a large coke. My bill was $11.04, which I think is high. The food was great, lots of cheese and grease. Warning you will probably want to take a nap after a meal like this.
While it will not be my regular lunch spot because of the price, The Squeeze will remain on my list of good places to eat.
